The EST with Friends of Europe Our International Officer Deborah Conserva, Ambassador to Belgium  Maria Masdemont, and Director of Communications Olivia Serra, attended the event "Gender Equality in Europe: progress or retreat?" organized by Friends of Europe.

Featured Article! The Working Group on Public Health recently contributed an invited feature article to the newsletter - a supplement of the Joanna Briggs Institute for Evidence Implementation (JBIEI) of the Medical School of the University of Adelaide in Australia! 

Upcoming Event: Have you ever heard of the structural causes of migration? or to what extent is the international political economy linked to migration flows?  Next Tuesday, 2nd of May at 18.30 CET, the EST will host a webinar to explore the implications and determinants of migration from the MENA through an International Political Economy Perspective.

Submit your article to EST! The EST is welcoming external articles related to the thematic areas of the EU, such as foreign policy, economics, security/defense, or current events/domestic policy. Essays should not exceed 1,800 words.  Click here to submit!

Ambassador of the Month! Elene Kobakhidze Our ambassador to Prague, Elene Kobakhidze has been been awarded a special mention this month, due to her dedicated work in reporting on the Tbilisi protests of March 2023.
