The Obama Foundation:Celebrate International Women's Day on March 8

Hi there,

Tomorrow, March 8th, is International Women's Day. This is a dedicated moment for us to reflect on the progress we've made and the work that still needs to be done to advance gender equality around the world.

At the Obama Foundation, we stand with this mission, particularly when it comes to ensuring that adolescent girls have access to education.

Amal Clooney, Wanjiru Wahome, and Mrs. Obama sits on stage in gray fabric chairs. Behind them is a large dark blue backdrop with the words 'GET HER THERE' stacked vertically in pink. Amal has a medium-light skin tone, long dark hair and wears an emerald green dress. She sits with her legs crossed and displays a soft smile and applauds while looking left at Wanjiru. Wanjiru has a medium-deep skin tone with dark hair pulled back. She wears green slacks, a black top and colorful beaded headpiece and necklace. Mrs. Obama has a medium-deep skin tone and dark braided hair pulled back into a low bun. She wears a dark gray jumpsuit and a chunky gold chain
necklace. She extends her right arm toward Wanjiru and holds an encouraging expression. On the image there is a button in pink that reads "Donate Today."

Around this day, we ask you to consider making a gift to the Obama Foundation as a way to support our work. Your contribution will help us provide young girls with the education and tools they need to succeed, which will help them change their world.

Make giving to advance our mission one of the ways you participate in International Women’s Day this year. We could not help girls change their world without your support, and we are grateful for your partnership in this important work.

Thank you for your commitment to gender equality and for your support of the Obama Foundation.
