Highlights

  • EU butter prices: 636 €/100 kg, -5.2% down in last 4 weeks;
  • EU SMP prices: 312 €/100 kg, -3.5% down in last 4 weeks;
  • EU WMP prices: 443 €/100 kg, -3.3% down in last 4 weeks;
  • EU cheddar prices: 471 €/100 kg, +0.3% up in last 4 weeks;
  • IT spot milk price stable at 67.3 c/kg (27/11/2022);
  • Decrease of feed (-4.7%) and energy costs (-6.6%) in week 47 compared to the previous 4 weeks;
  • Oceania more price competitive on butter, SMP and WMP; US more competitive on cheddar;
  • For milk production till October 2022, AUS and NZ are down (respectively -6% and -3.6%) while US milk production status quo.
