Highlights

  • EU butter prices: 672 €/100 kg, -2.3% down in last 4 weeks;
  • EU SMP prices: 316 €/100 kg, -8.6% down in last 4 weeks;
  • EU WMP prices: 459 €/100 kg, -2.7% down in last 4 weeks;
  • EU cheddar prices: 470 €/100 kg, -0.5% down in last 4 weeks;
  • IT spot milk price show small decrease to 67.3 c/kg (13/11/2022);
  • Increase of feed costs (+0.1%) and decrease of energy costs (-4%) in week 45 compared to the previous 4 weeks;
  • Oceania more price competitive on butter, SMP and WMP, while US more competitive on cheddar;
  • GDT last auction (15/11/2022): general price index +2.4%. Price increases for SMP and WMP (both +3.1%); decrease for lactose (-4.6%), cheddar (-1.3%) and butter (-0.8%).
