NATO Secretary General welcomes the Prime Minister of Sweden to NATO Headquarters

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg welcomed Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson to NATO Headquarters on Thursday (20 October 2022) for discussions on Sweden and Finland’s applications to join the Alliance.

NATO fighter jets take to the skies over NATO’s eastern flank

Fighter jets from Italy, Poland and the United States took to the skies over NATO’s eastern flank last week as part of NATO’s Air Shielding mission. The line-up of aircraft included Italian Eurofighters, Polish F-16s and Polish MiG-29s and United States F-22s. The planned one-day series of aerial manoeuvres were conducted from Łask Air Base in Poland on 12 October 2022.

NATO Secretary General meets the Prime Minister of Romania

On Wednesday, 26 October, the NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jens Stoltenberg, will receive the Prime Minister of Romania, Mr. Nicolae Ciucă, at NATO Headquarters.

The Secretary General and the Prime Minister will give a joint press point after their meeting.
