The NATO Secretary General to visit Canada

The NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jens Stoltenberg, will travel to Canada from Wednesday 24 August to Friday 26 August 2022.

Mr. Stoltenberg will be hosted by the Prime Minister of Canada, Mr. Justin Trudeau. Together, they will visit one of the North Warning System sites, the Canadian High Arctic Research Station and Operation Nanook-Nunakput in Cambridge Bay, Nunavut on 25 August.

On 26 August, they will visit the Canadian Armed Forces base in Cold Lake, Alberta. During his visit, the Secretary General will also meet with other senior Canadian officials, as well as members of the Canadian Armed Forces and civil society.

Visite du secrétaire général de l’OTAN au Canada

Du mercredi 24 au vendredi 26 août 2022, le secrétaire général de l’OTAN, M. Jens Stoltenberg, effectuera une visite au Canada.

M. Stoltenberg sera accueilli par le premier ministre canadien, M. Justin Trudeau. Le 25 août, le secrétaire général et M. Trudeau visiteront l'une des stations du système d’alerte du Nord, la station canadienne de recherche dans l’Extrême-Arctique, et la Force opérationnelle Nanook-Nunakput à Cambridge Bay, au Nunavut.

Le 26 août, ils se rendront sur la base des forces armées canadiennes de Cold Lake, en Alberta. Au cours de sa visite, le secrétaire général rencontrera aussi d’autres hauts responsables canadiens ainsi que des membres des forces armées canadiennes et de la société civile.
