The latest employment report shows steady gains and consistent strength in U.S. jobs creation. U.S. Department of Labor April 1, 2022 Job growth continues In March, we added 431,000 jobs and the unemployment rate dropped to 3.6% - just 0.1 percentage point above its pre-pandemic level. Over the past 3 months, we've added an average of 562,000 jobs per month to the economy. These steady gains show consistent strength in U.S. jobs creation.
