To-date, we have supported 50 grassroots projects in 20 countries like India, Malawi, Cambodia, Peru, and Afghanistan reaching more than 17,000 young women. These programs are helping girls stay in school, offering mentorship, building dormitories and computer labs, and so much more. We’re grateful that 9,000 individual donors from all 50 states and 40 countries have contributed to support this vital work for adolescent girls.
We hope you’ll join us in support on International Women’s Day. Learn more about organizations featured on the Girls Opportunity Alliance Fund that are empowering adolescent girls through education, including by helping them to keep learning safely during pandemic. Then make a donation to support these young women and their dreams. Your support creates a ripple effect all its own—because when girls get the opportunities they deserve, they can transform their families, their communities, their countries, and our world.
I can’t think of a better way to celebrate International Women’s Day than that.
