PSP A. Jack Georgalas Passes
AHEPA is sad to learn of the passing of Past Supreme President A. Jack Georgalas of Seaford, VA on November 3.
Brother Georgalas served as Supreme President of the Order from 2003 – 2004, and was also a past Chairman of the AHEPA Board of Trustees.
He was a member of Woodrow Wilson Chapter 241 of Newport News, VA. Brother Georgalas and his wife Mary, of blessed memory, were considered pillars of the Greek American community in the Tidewater area.
Supreme President Jimmy Kokotas stated "We are all saddened by the passing of such a great Ahepan. During a difficult time in our history, Brother Georgalas took action to protect and maintain AHEPA's standing and promoted our mission. Brother Georgalas will be remembered for his dedication and service not just to AHEPA, but to our community as well. Our most sincere and deepest condolences are extended to his family and AHEPA brothers."
