In the context of the opinion on Implementation of the Charter of Fundamental Rights, the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) is organising a remote public hearing on Tuesday 20 April 2021. The Commission has devised a new "Strategy to strengthen the application of the Charter of Fundamental Rights in the EU" and the EESC will explore how the strategy can help empower civil society organisations, rights defenders and justice practitioners; and strengthen the general awareness of EU citizens of their rights under the Charter. Le Comité économique et social européen (CESE) organise une audition publique à distance sur le thème «Application de la charte des droits fondamentaux» le mardi 20 avril 2021. La Commission a élaboré une nouvelle "stratégie pour renforcer l'application de la charte des droits fondamentaux dans l'UE" et le CESE examinera comment la stratégie peut contribuer à renforcer les organisations de la société civile, les défenseurs des droits et les praticiens de la justice; et renforcer la prise de conscience générale des citoyens de l'UE de leurs droits au titre de la Charte.
