| WTO members committed to keeping up momentum in fisheries subsidies negotiations |
| WTO members aim to build on the momentum achieved this year during fisheries subsidies negotiations and forge an agreement early in 2021 as their contribution to securing the future of the world’s oceans. The chair of the negotiations, Ambassador Santiago Wills of Colombia, said that despite difficulties caused by COVID-19-related disruptions to the talks real progress was made in 2020 and that members are determined to build on the progress and bring the negotiations to conclusion. |

| E-commerce co-convenors release update on the negotiations, welcome encouraging progress |
| In a public statement on e-commerce negotiations released on 14 December, the co-convenors of the talks — Australia, Japan and Singapore — said the consolidated negotiating text, shared with participating members on 7 December, captures the encouraging progress achieved so far. They said the initiative remained on track to deliver substantial progress by the 12th WTO Ministerial Conference scheduled for next year. |

| WTO issues compendium of GATT dispute settlement reports |
| The new “GATT Dispute Settlement Reports” compendium brings together for the first time all dispute settlement reports issued under the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) 1947 and related instruments, including the Tokyo Round plurilateral codes. The six-volume set compiles reports issued from 1948 to 1994. |
