Norway steps up efforts to combat non-communicable diseases in low-income countries

Norway will contribute an additional USD 133 million to reduce the burden of non-communicable diseases in low-income countries from 2020 to 2024. “Non-communicable diseases are the leading killers of our time. As is so often the case, the world’s poorest and most vulnerable bear the heaviest burden,” said Norway’s Minister of International Development, Dag-Inge Ulstein.
