Does sunlight prevent or cure COVID-19?

Bacille Calmette-Guérin (BCG) vaccination and COVID-19

There is no evidence that the BCG vaccine protects people against infection with COVID-19 virus. In the absence of evidence, WHO does not recommend BCG vaccination for the prevention of COVID-19.

Watch the Health for All Film Festival online

For its inaugural Health for All film festival, WHO received 1265 submissions from 119 countries. Entries focused on a wide range of topics, such as the challenges of providing health-care in remote areas and countries in conflict, the realities of living and battling cancer, and the courage and resilience of nurses and midwifes in the face of the most challenging of circumstances.
