CLP Policy Changes for DAU Courses

The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) has recently revised CLP values for their specific courses with the implementation of DAU's new learning management system (LMS) - CSOD September 2018. DAU is an International Association for Continuing Education & Training (IACET) accredited provider, they follow IACET Standards for determining Continuous Education (CEUs) and in turn the Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) assigned to a course. CLP values are periodically revised based upon the average time it takes students to complete the course. Unlike the old DAU LMS, there is no time limit in completing an online course through CSOD. Recommend once you sign up for a course, you complete the course in a reasonable timeframe. The CLP value awarded will be the CLP value assigned when the course is completed. Please be cognizant that CLP value revisions may require individuals to complete additional courses to achieve or maintain a Federal Acquisition Certification (FAC). Please contact your agency’s ACM if you have any questions.
