Hi everyone,
Last week, we gathered thousands of young leaders and community organizers from around the country, united by one goal: creating a world where boys and young men of color know they matter and have clear paths to opportunity.
We called it MBK Rising!
From Boston to Albuquerque to Oakland, we were joined by incredible individuals who are working tirelessly to ensure boys and young men of color get the resources and support they need to thrive.
We were so moved by what we saw and heard—from the rhythms of Native American drums, to spoken word that stirred our spirits, to powerful conversations about masculinity, our responsibility to our sisters and the LGBTQ community, and more. Here are just a few of those memorable moments:
These words will help fuel our journey toward a more fair and just future for all of our sons and daughters.

The energy in the room was contagious—and we want to thank you for being a part of this important work. In order to build on this momentum, we need your help to continue to spotlight, lift up, and invest in organizations and communities that fight injustice and are laser-focused on solutions that change lives.
With your support, we can ensure all of our boys and young men grow up in safe and supportive communities where nothing stands in the way of them reaching their biggest dreams
Watch the recap now—and stay tuned for more opportunities on how to continue our momentum.
