Cyprus to appoint military attache in Washington

The Cypriot Cabinet decided on Wednesday to appoint a military attaché in Washington to enhance the blossoming Cyprus-US ties. According to Deputy Government Spokeswoman Klelia Vasiliou, the decision is part of an effort to strengthen bilateral ties between Cyprus and the United States and to engage in a balanced defence diplomacy. read more

Chris Kydes leads a simple life - he wakes up at 4 or 5 a.m., watches the morning news and makes his way over to a small roadside workshop.
